Bristow Public Schools is committed to providing a quality education for all students - including students with disabilities. Bristow Schools has a comprehensive program in place to ensure that students with disabilities are identified early and receive the educational services that they require as specified under the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act of 1997 (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Bristow Schools is committed to adhering to all facets of the policies set forth in IDEA, Section 504 and operates in accordance with the "Policies and Procedures Manual for Special Education in Oklahoma", Special Education Section, Oklahoma State Department of Education, in order to provide a quality, free education to all students with disabilities. In addition, Bristow Schools utilizes the methodologies as defined in the Child Find component of IDEA in order to identify special needs students as early as possible.
