Bristow Public Schools is making significant progress on the construction projects funded by the bond issue approved by voters in January 2024. The district is committed to addressing both current and future needs by enhancing facilities, technology, and safety measures.
The $15,475,000 bond issue, approved last year, includes several key projects aimed at improving the district’s infrastructure. Construction has begun with the cheer facility, followed by the new Agricultural Education (Ag Ed) building, and a storm shelter at Collins Elementary.
The approved bond projects include:
Collins Elementary Storm Shelter – A facility featuring an indoor play area and retractable classroom wall partitions to enhance safety and functionality.
Cheer Facility – A dedicated space for cheerleading activities, providing students with a specialized training environment.
Service Road Construction – A new road connecting the Ag Building to the middle school and high school, improving accessibility and safety for students and staff.
Ag Building Storm Shelter – A shelter integrated with a shop area, retractable classroom wall partitions, and a greenhouse to support hands-on learning in agricultural education.
District administrators and the school board remain focused on ensuring these projects meet the needs of students and staff while fostering a safe and modern learning environment. As construction progresses, Bristow Public Schools will continue to update the community on the status of these improvements.
These facility enhancements, made possible by the community’s support, will provide long-term benefits for Bristow students and educators for years to come.
