Bristow Public Schools (BPS) has been making it easier for parents, teachers, and students to stay connected with the launch of the "Rooms" communication platform by Apptegy. With our soft launch last spring, we are now utilizing Rooms exclusively as our mode of communication. Available through the BPS app, which parents can download from their app store, Rooms allows guardians to directly message teachers, providing a simple and efficient way to stay updated with school news, announcements, and individual communications.
Parents can opt to receive messages through push notifications, emails, or both. An upcoming update will soon allow messages to be sent via text, giving families even more flexibility. BPS will notify our Pirate family once this feature is available.
Rooms not only streamlines communication for parents but also benefits teachers by keeping all messages and announcements in one secure platform. Students can safely message their teachers with course-related questions, and all conversations are monitored by administrators to ensure a safe learning environment. Families with multiple children or teachers will appreciate having a unified platform for all communications.
